Both Alan and Julia Carter spent many years creating wonderful artwork.

Many of Alan’s paintings portray dancing figures, although he also painted numerous harlequins, mystical and comical figures as well as caricatures. Further paintings portray trees and landscapes. Julia was a gifted botanical artist and captured flowers and plants in great detail.

Alan passed away in 2009 and Julia moved to a care home in early 2023. Their daughter, Alexandra, is now looking to find a new home for these wonderful pieces of art.

Although both Alan and Julia used to sell their pictures, no prices are given on this website. Instead a donation to one of the following charities would be a much appreciated gesture: Alzheimer’s Society or Marie Curie.
